She has lots of long, matted hair, which is rendered with various sizes and colors of yarn and thread, and which has many combs and hairties stuck into it. A tall feminine person with a teddybear head is combing and cutting off the hair, which crosses over many parts of the canvas and surrounds them, as if releasing the person from the bondage of their hair.

about this piece

This is my first oil painting. It is also gigantic. I used yarn and thread for the hair, and stuck some combs and hair ties into it as well. This went through a lot of fun stages, and I intend to post some images of that here when I have time.
