This little comic is a gift that keeps on giving. No dialogue, no cultural references to make it obviously dated, not a style typical of modern furry art. The characters are a bit cute but also a little creepy somehow, in the way of a mascot or a doll or something. I don't even do very many comic strips and I never did any kind of follow up except for some errant sketches. I don't think I'd be able to pinpoint the exact inspiration for this strip but I still like so many things about it.
