I sketched this up during the Bernie Sanders primary election campaign. A (now famous) moment happened during a campaign rally where a little bird landed on Sanders' podium as he was speaking at a campaign rally, and of course it inspired myriad artworks and memes, mostly equating Sanders to a Disney Princess. UwU

But I saw another obvious reference: Birds Rights Activist (@ProBirdRights), a popular satirical Twitter account which pokes fun at people who are not oppressed on the basis of their identity but become very uncomfortable when people who are are given priority to speak on an issue that affects them.

Clearly this was the Birds Rights Activist seizing a rare opportunity to literally take to the podium with his agenda and it needed to be documented.
