about this piece

This was finished only about a month after I had surgery to be sterilized, but it actually wasn't related to that. It's more about my general state of health at the time, as I was in the thick of a very bad relationship with food, which as it turns out is not ideal when recovering from surgery. Your belly hurts a lot when you have disordered eating. (Including when actively trying to recover, which I wasn't yet.)
